What do you need to start?
Please provide the 3D CAD model or existing drawing, required units, material, manufacturing process, critical dimensions, tolerances and preferred output formats.
Can you create drawings from STEP files?
Yes. I can import STEP, IGES and Parasolid files into SolidWorks and prepare manufacturing drawings. Import quality will be checked before starting.
Is 3D modelling included?
No. The packages are based on an existing usable 3D model. Model creation, reconstruction or design modification can be added separately.
Can you apply GD&T?
Yes. I can apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing based on the component function, mating features and selected ASME or ISO standard. Functional requirements must be confirmed by the client.
Can you create assembly and weldment drawings?
Yes. I can prepare assembly drawings, exploded views, BOMs, balloons, weld symbols, cut lists and fabrication notes.
Which formats will I receive?
Depending on your package, deliverables may include PDF, DWG, DXF, SLDPRT, SLDASM and SLDDRW files.
Are the drawings ready for manufacturing?
The drawings will be prepared using the information and requirements provided. Final tolerances, materials and manufacturing details should be reviewed by the client and selected manufacturer before production.
