About this Gig
Raw data is rarely analysis-ready; duplicate rows, inconsistent formats, missing values, and broken structures get in the way before you can even start. I'll take your messy Excel or SQL dataset and turn it into a clean, structured, analysis-ready file.
What I do:
- Remove duplicates, fix inconsistent formatting, handle missing/null values
- Standardize column types and naming conventions
- Restructure data into a clean, usable format (wide/long, normalized tables, etc.)
- Flag and document any data quality issues I find along the way
- Deliver a short summary of what was cleaned and why
I work with SQL Server, Excel, and Power Query, and I document every transformation so you know exactly what changed. Great for prepping data before building dashboards, running analysis, or feeding it into a BI tool.

What file formats do you accept?
Excel (.xlsx, .xls), CSV, and SQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Send your file or share access details after ordering.
My data has sensitive/confidential information, is that okay?
Yes. I only use your data for the work you've ordered and don't share or store it beyond the project. If needed, I can also work from an anonymized sample first.
What counts as an "item" for the row limit?
Each row in your dataset counts as one item. If you're not sure how many rows you have, send the file and I'll confirm before we start.
Can you also build a dashboard from the cleaned data?
Cleaning is this gig's focus, but I do offer a separate Power BI dashboard service if you'd like the cleaned data turned into a visual report. Check my other gig or message me to bundle both.
What if my data needs more than basic cleaning (e.g. merging multiple files, complex restructuring)?
