About this Gig
Most VPS breaches I clean up started with something simple: a password SSH login, a database port published by Docker straight past the firewall, or a PHP version with a public exploit.
I audit your server and fix what matters:
- SSH: key-only login, root login policy, non-standard exposure
- Firewall review, including Docker ports that bypass ufw
- fail2ban tuned correctly (also behind Cloudflare, so you don't ban your own visitors)
- Outdated packages and known CVEs (PHP 8.0 - 8.5, kernel, panel)
- Users, sudo rights, cron jobs, running services
- Automatic security updates
You receive a prioritized report (critical / important / nice-to-have) with what was changed and what still needs your decision.
IMPORTANT: root or sudo SSH access is required (VPS, dedicated or cloud). Shared hosting is not supported.

Do you work on shared hosting?
No. Hardening needs root or sudo SSH access to a VPS, dedicated or cloud server.
Will hardening lock me out?
No. SSH changes are tested from a second session before the first one is closed, and your key is confirmed first.
Which Linux versions do you support?
Ubuntu, Debian and AlmaLinux. Others on request.
My site is behind Cloudflare. Is that a problem?
No. fail2ban and the logs are configured to see the real visitor IP, so you don't ban Cloudflare and your own visitors.
