How should I send my manuscript?
A Word document or a PDF is fine if you have opted for the Manuscript Feedback form only. If you have selected the 'more detailed appraisal' add-on, please send a Word document so that I can comment on the manuscript itself. Thanks!
What writing do you read?
I can happily beta-read any fiction or memoir. Personally, I mostly read (and write) commercial fiction - and in particular, psychological thrillers, or plots with a dark, edgy twist.
Do you read non-fiction?
I do read memoirs if they are written creatively (with the sensation of a 'story', as opposed to a perfunctory re-telling of events). I do not critique other non-fiction.
Do you accept scripts?
I studied a course of script-writing at university and am happy to critique scripts for stage and screen.
What if my word count does not neatly fit into your outlined packages?
If your word-count is less than or more than any of my packages, please message me and I'm sure we can arrange a bespoke offer which suits both parties.
What if your package offers 'feedback report' but I need a sample line edit?
I can provide a general detailed feedback report, or a more comprehensive sample line edit for any word-count between 5,000 and 25,000 words. Please message me if your requirements do not exactly fit into the outline on my advertised packages - I am happy to create a bespoke package.
