About this gig
My experience on-stage and in the studio playing with hundreds of singer-songwriters since 2012 allows me to create cello parts fast for just about any song. See my profile for over 200 5-star reviews!
I use Ableton 10 and an Audient soundcard to record with an Austrian Audio OC818 microphone. I have a world-class quality cello handmade by Marco Pedrini in Cremona, Italy, built in 2008. I often get compliments from recording engineers about its warm tone and especially delicious bass frequencies.
My basic offer: single cello line, for up to 2 minutes, with two rounds of revisions included. Doubling can be discussed, your parts or mine.
My standard package: a full song with 1-2 cello lines (harmonies), unlimited revisions, all of the above.
My premium package: up to 4 cello lines (lush string sound) and all of the above.
Add more seconds as needed!
I create sheets using MIDI files as needed.

I am a classically trained cellist who specializes in improvisation and playing with singer-songwriters. I have been working in Berlin, Germany since 2012 with singer-songwriters, rock bands, jazz groups, and everything in between. I use Austrian Audio OC818 mics to capture the top quality sound of my Marco Pedrini cello from Cremona.

What happens when I make an order? What are the next steps?
You'll send me an mp3 (or a .wav) of your track - the most complete version especially if I am improvising/composing. I'll record till I'm happy with it and send you my final take (dry, 24 bit and 44100, up to 96000 per request). If revisions are necessary we discuss those and I re-record/send.
Can you really improvise? Aren't you classically trained?
Yes, I can improvise. I have been working with singer-songwriters in Berlin, Germany where I live since 2012. I do live improvisation and make my own parts with nearly all of the projects I play with. Check out my originals on Spotify and other videos on YouTube!

You have a very short order? No problem. Get in touch and we'll discuss a rate.
I have a recording of what I want you to play, can you play it?
If you have a recording but not a .midi file or sheets of what you want me to play, I cannot learn and play it for you. Transcribing from a recording is more work and I am not prepared to include that in my offer. There are other people on Fiverr offering transcription services though!
I am interested in the full album package, how does that work?
Get in touch with me first if you like! This way we can discuss the needs of each song. Cello doesn't have to be on each track, and we can see about adding extra (more than 4) cello voices on a per-case basis. This offer is very flexible and we can make it perfect for your needs.
Did you study cello? What are your qualifications?
Yes, I am classically trained with a Bachelor of Cello Performance from SUNY Potsdam in New York and a Master of Cello Performance from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I can basically play anything you throw at me, or learn it quickly. Look my profile up on Spotify or Youtube!
Who else have you worked with?
Some of the better-known artists include: Declan Galbraith, Enda Gallery (delush), and Sören Vogelsang, but there are many, many more. A quick Spotify or YouTube search will yield plenty of results.
What do you REALLY excel at?
I'm best with emotional tracks, moody ones, pretty ones, as well as tracks that are a little rougher. I do best when improvising, but am perfectly comfortable with sheet music. I love projects with lots of soul and a good story where I can really pour my heart into them as well.
