I will create stl file and 3d printable model from sketch or 2d drawing

About this gig
Have a product idea, sketch, existing part, or reference image that needs to become a professional 3D-printable model?
I create clean, dimension-driven SolidWorks CAD models and STL files designed for practical FDM and SLA 3D printing. Whether you're developing a prototype, replacing a component, or preparing a product for manufacturing, I'll turn your reference material into a structured CAD model ready for the next stage of your project.
What I Deliver
- Print-ready STL with clean, closed/manifold geometry
- Dimension-driven SolidWorks 3D CAD model
- Appropriate wall thickness based on the intended application
- STL orientation and geometry checks
- STEP file for future editing
- Professional CAD source files
- Basic print-orientation and support recommendations
- Slicing/printability review where applicable
I Can Work From
- Hand-drawn sketches with dimensions
- Product photos and measurements
- Existing parts or physical samples
- PDF technical drawings
- DXF files
- Reference images
- STL/mesh files requiring CAD reconstruction
- Basic product concepts with dimensions
Ideal For
- Product prototypes and functional parts
- Custom replacement components
- Mechanical brackets and enclosures

FAQ
What do you need from me to get started?
Please provide your sketch, reference images, existing part measurements, PDF/DXF drawing, STL/mesh file, or written dimensions. If the design has specific functional requirements, such as threads, press fits, clearances, or moving components, please include those as well.
Can you design models for both FDM and SLA 3D printing?
Yes. I can prepare models for FDM, SLA, and MSLA workflows. I can take the intended printing process, material, printer limitations, wall thickness, clearances, and geometry into consideration when preparing the model.
How do you check the STL before delivery?
I check the model for common geometry issues such as open surfaces, non-manifold geometry, unwanted gaps, intersecting geometry, and unsuitable wall thickness. Where applicable, I can also review the model in slicing software before delivery.
Will you provide the editable CAD file?
Yes. STEP and/or native SolidWorks files can be included depending on the package selected. This allows the model to be opened and further developed in compatible CAD software.
What if I encounter a problem when 3D printing the model?
If the issue is caused by an error in the delivered geometry that falls within the agreed project scope, I'll review it and make the necessary correction. Printer calibration, material selection, slicing settings, and machine-specific issues may require separate troubleshooting.
Can you design multiple parts or complete assemblies?
Yes. I can create multi-part assemblies, mechanical components, housings, brackets, enclosures, and functional prototypes. The number and complexity of parts depend on the package and project scope.
Can you reverse-engineer an existing physical part?
Yes. I can recreate an existing component from measurements, photographs, sketches, STL/mesh data, or other available references. For accurate reverse engineering, detailed measurements and multiple reference views are highly recommended.
Can I use the finished design commercially?
Yes, for designs created specifically for your project, you can use the completed deliverables for your intended commercial application once the order has been completed and paid for, subject to Fiverr's terms and any third-party materials involved.
What file formats can you provide?
Depending on your package and requirements, I can provide: STL — 3D printing STEP — CAD exchange 3MF — 3D printing OBJ — mesh/visualization workflows SLDPRT / SLDASM — native SolidWorks files PDF — technical drawings
