Google in English shows you maybe 20% of the Japanese market. The rest (mid-size domestic players, Rakuten-only brands, industry-association data, municipal statistics, Japanese-only price pages) is in Japanese.
I'm a native Japanese speaker based in Japan. I research your category using Japanese-language sources only and deliver an English snapshot you can act on:

Most consumer and B2B categories. I decline medical/pharma claims, financial products and anything needing a licensed opinion. The report is in English; source links are Japanese pages, each with a one-line English note on what it shows.
Can you visit stores or take photos? How current is the data?
Not as part of this gig. Message me with the location and what you need; if it's practical I'll send a custom offer. Data is captured during your order; every price and figure carries a date and source. AI helps me search and tabulate; I verify sources and write the conclusions.
Do you use AI?
For search expansion, tabulation and first drafts, yes. Opening every Japanese source, normalizing the prices to the same conditions and writing the conclusions are done by me. I never send unedited AI output.
