FAQ
Can you provide a British accent?
Yes! I was born and bred in the UK, and my natural accent is perfect Received Pronunciation. It's what gets me work!
When do I need to pay for rights?
If the voiceover I provide for you is going online on a client website, or any non-paid advertising channels like Youtube etc, then it requires commercial rights. If it features on paid advertising channels, it needs full broadcasting rights. Live event/presentation usage requires live rights.
Can you do character voices?
I am a professional actor with eight years experience, after having trained for three years at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (alumni include Judi Dench, Laurence Olivier and I was in the same year as Kit Harington). I work ONLY in my accent, but I can do a lot with my voice.
Do you provide any other work besides VO?
No. People sometimes contact me asking if I'll do a video testimonial for them or can help with the design of their video. I only provide my voice!
There are thousands of voices on here - why choose you?
Because I'm seriously good at my job - I honestly don't think you'll get a better deal elsewhere on Fiverr. I've never had an unsatisfied customer and my work (excuse the pun) speaks for itself!
What's a revision, and why would I order it?
There are two types: If I deliver a VO you're not happy with, you can ask me to 'revise' it for FREE and I may ask for more direction to get what you need. But if you CHANGE any of your script after recording, then you need to pay for a 'revision' for me to re-record at my rate of $5 per 25 words
Can I pay for usage rights later rather than upfront?
I appreciate that some projects need final approval before being used, so in such circumstances I am happy to provide a WATERMARKED audio track for approval in advance. This audio watermark will be removed if the final recording is approved.
What do you receive?
I deliver recordings as a WAV file, 48,000 Hz and 32-bit float as standard. But if you have any alternative requirements (eg. MP3, FLAC, AIFF etc) just let me know and I can deliver them.
What is NOT included in a standard order
Video-synching and proof-reading/copy correction are both extras that need to be added if required along with the relevant usage terms. Any questions , just let me know!
