What is the difference between the Local LLM version and the API version?
With the API version, your chatbot communicates with an external LLM (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.). It’s lighter on server resources but depends on the provider’s availability. The Local LLM version runs entirely on your own server, giving you full data sovereignty.
What are the hardware/resource requirements?
For the API version, a VPS with 4 GB RAM and a stable connection is fine. For local LLM, you may need 16 GB RAM or more, a GPU (if using a model that supports GPU), and sufficient disk I/O. I’ll help you size the server based on your model.
Is my data safe?
Yes. This system never sends your private data to third-party platforms. The code is deployed on your server and is under your control. Communications are encrypted (HTTPS via Nginx). You’ll get setup that is hardened against common attacks.
How customizable is the chat widget?
Highly customizable. You can change colors, layout, fonts, icons and positions. I deliver clean code and documentation so your front-end team can style it as desired.
Do you provide a dashboard or analytics interface?
The dashboard/analytics module is an optional extra. If you order that add-on, I’ll build you a secure HTTPS dashboard showing chat logs, usage stats, user sessions, etc.
