About this gig
If you need a personalized & unique piece of music, look no further!
I will compose an original piece (or arrange an existing piece) for a solo instrument (e.g., piano, violin, voice) for any purpose or occasion. I can write complex, multi-movement works or shorter pieces, accompaniment, standalone tunes, &c. Please see my other gig for multi-instrumental works.
The packages are guidelines. Price & delivery time will vary based on the length & scope of the project.
The final products for this gig will be:
(a) the sheet music (full score) in PDF format;
(b) the underlying MuseScore or Sibelius project file (with mxml file); and,
(c) a demo track (wav & mp3) with a virtual instrument (prepared with NotePerformer or MuseSounds) with basic mixing/mastering & syncing as needed for your project.
This gig does not include transcription, live recording, extensive VSTi work or mixing/mastering, video editing, or any services other than composition or arrangement itself & the production of the sheet music & demo track in the formats & as otherwise indicated above.

I love working on a variety of projects to expand my horizons, whether it be a film or game score, an original work for a special occasion like a birthday or wedding, or helping with orchestrating, arranging, or revising your own original compositions.

FAQ
Can you write in any genre?
Yes! While I specialize in classical music, I like and find value in just about every genre of music I've encountered so far and would love to work on more projects touching on genres I do not normally engage with as a composer.
Can you write for any instrument?
Yes, but always a good idea to contact me first before placing an order to discuss instrumentation.
Do you arrange as well as compose?
Yes, definitely. Fiverr only lets me select one subcategory under 'composer' but I am always happy to do arrangements/reductions as well as compose for any type of project (beyond just film/soundtrack scores).
Will you make sheet music from an existing audio file?
Transcription alone is outside the scope of this gig, and I generally expect you to provide sheet music for an existing piece you need me to arrange. I may be able to do some transcription work as part of larger order, however. Please contact me for details.
Can you help me find someone to record or produce one of your compositions?
Yes! There are plenty of wonderful musicians and artists on Fiverr and I would be happy to help connect you with someone suitable for your needs.
Do you have recordings of any of your pieces I can listen to?
Recordings of some of my pieces are available under the name "Nicholas E. Ballen" on iTunes, YouTube, and other streaming services. You can also find them through my website (https://www.neballencomposer.com).
