Non-fiction needs names, dates and figures that stay consistent from chapter 1 to chapter 30, terminology used the same way throughout, and claims that aren't overstated.

What's the difference between copy editing and proofreading?
Copy editing goes deeper: consistency, clarity, terminology and style across the whole manuscript. Proofreading is the final check for typos and small errors before publishing.
Do you provide medical or clinical review?
No. I'm not a medical professional. I check consistency and terminology and flag claims that seem unsupported, but health content that needs clinical sign-off should be reviewed by a qualified expert.
Do you do developmental editing?
No. I focus on copy editing. If I notice a structural issue, I'll flag it in a comment.
