I will develop an ELD app in Flutter that will bring the advantage of a unified, high-performance cross-platform experience essential for drivers on both Android and iOS devices who depend on consistency and responsiveness.

I understand this project requires more than just app development; it demands deep alignment with FMCSA compliance, real-time vehicle data handling, and user flows that minimize friction for drivers logging hours or conducting vehicle inspections. My approach begins with mapping the full ELD workflow from driver authentication and automatic HOS recording to DVIR reporting, real-time GPS tracking, and ECM data integration via Bluetooth/OBD-II.

Using Flutter for the frontend ensures fast rendering and native-like fluidity. The backend stack would include Firebase (for real-time updates, cloud functions, and notifications) or Node.js with PostgreSQL if complex analytics or fleet-wide management dashboards are needed. For hardware communication, integration with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) libraries and background services will be handled robustly using Flutter plugins and native bridging.
