Can you work on a site another developer started or left half-broken?

How long does it take, and how often will you update me?
Most redesigns take a few days to about two weeks, depending on page count and features. I share progress previews at key stages and reply within the working day, so you're never left guessing where your wix website stands.
After it's done, do I own the site and can I edit it myself?
