FAQ
What are 'Commercial Rights' or 'Non-Paid Marketing Rights' and do I need them?
You will need commercial rights to be able to promote your product or service in any non-paid marketing channels or ANY BUSINESS-RELATED PURPOSES (with the exception of paid marketing channels). For this, you'll need Promotional/Broadcast Rights.
What are 'Full Broadcast Rights' or 'Paid Promotional Rights' and do I need them?
Includes use across internet, radio, podcasts, events, streaming platforms, apps, online courses, sales pitches and other paid promotional/marketing channels. Excludes TV commercials, which require a custom quote—just ask and we can discuss.
What qualifies as a revision?
If I make a mistake (mispronunciation, missed/added words), I’ll fix it free of charge. Any script changes, rewording, or new takes count as a revision and cost $50 per 100 words (same price applies for additional takes).
How fast is 'Extra Fast Delivery'?
Extra Fast Delivery moves your project to the front of the queue and is usually recorded within 24 hours. Please note I take weekends off, so super-rush orders placed then will be delivered first thing on Monday.
Can I direct you over phone or video?
Absolutely! Live directed sessions are available as an extra, charged per 30 minutes. I can connect via Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp or FaceTime. If you have Source Connect or Cleanfeed, I’m happy to join you there too.
Where are you located in the world? What time zone?
I'm based in the UK in Lincolnshire. Time zone UTC +0 GMT (Greenwich Meantime) London.
What accents can you perform?
I confidently can perform: Speech Defects Posh/Queens English/RP British Neutral London Various Character voices I am originally from Hertfordshire, England, so my natural British accent is very neutral.
What styles/tones can you offer?
I can offer any style of voice over, from enthusiastic, engaging and professional, narrative, excited, emotional, conversational, natural, serious, authoritative, calming, angry, sarcastic, silly, sexy and much more! Just ask! :-)
Can you add music to voice recording?
Absolutely! If you own the rights to your music, I can add it to your audio. I also have access to licensed tracks (please request a custom quote). Music is charged at $45 per minute of finished audio.
Can you give me a FREE SAMPLE?
Yes! I’m happy to record a free short sample of your script—either before you order or once the order is placed. I can also send a few varied takes so you can choose the style you’d like me to use for your project.
