About this Gig
One fee for ten years: every EUIPO letter forwarded, every deadline docketed.
Why do you need an EU representative?
If your business is based outside the EU, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, the EU trade mark office (EUIPO) will not deal with you directly once your application is filed. You must name a representative based in Europe, and the office then sends everything to them. If you don't appoint one when the office asks, your application risks being refused.
Who I am
A Maltese advocate and EUIPO professional representative (ID 96422), with 6 years' experience.
What you get, for one application, for 10 years
- I am recorded as your representative
- An EU address for official letters
- Every EUIPO letter read, explained and forwarded to you, with deadlines flagged
- Routine formalities, such as classification queries and extensions
Not included: refusal responses, oppositions, recordals, renewals and searches (quoted separately). You pay EUIPO fees directly.
Please message me first with your application number and the applicant's name.

FAQ
Do I need a representative?
If your domicile, principal place of business and any real business establishment are all outside the EEA, yes, for everything after filing. If you are based in the EEA, it’s optional.
Can you take over an application I’ve already filed?
Yes. I record the appointment with the EUIPO and take over the correspondence from then on.
Does the fee stop once the mark is registered?
No. Routine representation runs for the full 10-year registration term. Renewal is quoted separately.
What if the EUIPO raises an objection or someone opposes?
That is substantive work, so I quote it separately once I’ve seen what the EUIPO or the opponent has sent.
