About this gig
Welcome to my gig! As a sesion drummer, I bring a wealth of experience to your musical projects, ensuring the heartbeat of your tracks is nothing short of exceptional. I specialize in jazz, rock, funk and soul genres. But I can adapt to the genre you need!
Drum Gear:
Gretsch Catalina Maple kit standard size. I have different options between Zildjian and Sabian cymbals.
I am also using a classic 1980s Ludwig Acrolite snare drum (14x5) for my recordings.
Mics:
I use Shure SM57 (Snare), Rhode M5 Matched pair Condenser Mics (Overheads) and Shure SM57 (kick).
Recording Technique:
Classic Glyn Johns 4-mic setup (huge, organic, 70s drum sound).

Hello! I'm Nicolas Olivera from Argentina. I studied drums since my teenage years and I have a degree in music from the most prestigious school of Buenos Aires (EMBA). With +10 years of performing and recording experience I have the skills needed to step into any recording projects. I work off of my own professionally designed recording studio.
