When can I expect a project to be finished?
Depends entirely on the complexity of your project and my current workload! If you contact me in advance, I can go over expectations in regards to your code and my current timeline. I want you to feel comfortable when you order from me!
What defines a "project scope?"
It's either the entire original codebase's size, or an isolated algorithm, function, class, etc. What's in the scope is up to you! Note that if it turns out a bug or optimisation extends beyond what you've isolated it to - the offer may be re-evaluated.
What counts as a bug?
A bug is a discrepancy between the intended behaviour (as documented or defined during the onboarding brief) and the actual behaviour of the code in its current state. It is NOT adding new features that were not in the original scope.
What counts as an optimisation?
An optimization refers to improving the performance, memory usage, or idiomatic quality of code that is already functional. This includes refactoring for efficiency or fixing compiler-level warnings. It does not include re-architecting the system or implementing entirely new requirements.
