No. Terraform import only registers your existing resources into Terraform's state file — nothing gets recreated, modified, or destroyed. Your infrastructure keeps running normally throughout the process.
Do I need to share my AWS credentials?
I recommend creating a temporary IAM role with read-only access for the initial audit, and scoped access when we proceed with the import. You stay in full control of your AWS account at all times.
What if I don't know all the resources in my AWS account?
