My teaching methodology is based on strengthening the basics of voice - Breathing, Vibration of vocal folds (voice control) and Resonance.

Also the lead vocalist and songwriter of professional Hindi alternate rock band TAPAS. As a band that is passionate about creating original compositions, we have written over 10 songs and in the process of releasing many more.

What does a one-hour singing session comprise of?
1. Body stretches and breathing workouts 2. Vocal warm-ups 3. Enhancing muscle memory using the Indian classical system 4. Working on a mutually decided song, breaking it down into chunks and practicing those chunks 5. Listening session and feedback
I am a beginner, will I be able to sing better?
A resounding yes! Of course, it all depends upon the practice that you put in. My job is to break down singing and make it easy for you. Your job: Just follow the instructions and put in the work (20 mins a day to start off with :) )
I want to learn Indian classical system, do you teach that as well?
Yes. Indian classical system that comprises of the raaga system and many other nuances is covered. I break down Indian classical and also draw parallels between the system and the Western form of music. Indian classical method is really good in improving voice control and understanding music deeply.
How much time would it take for me to become a better singer?
A lifetime. Haha. It is of course an endless process, but the answer is clearly subjective. On an average, three months is a good yardstick.
Will you be providing with practice material?
Yes, you get the recordings of each lesson over Skype, and also the practice audio material for your reference. Typically, each class gets you uniquely crafted vocal exercises to help enhance your singing.
