Are state and IRS filing fees included in the package price?
No. Package prices cover my services only. State filing fees vary by state and are paid separately. IRS application fees are also paid directly by you at the time of filing.
What is the difference between Form 1023-EZ and Form 1023?
Form 1023-EZ is a streamlined application available to qualifying organizations. Form 1023 is the full application and requires more detailed information. I will help determine which application is appropriate for your organization.
What happens if I purchase the 1023-EZ package but I'm not eligible?
Eligibility will be reviewed before filing. If your organization does not qualify for Form 1023-EZ, I will let you know before submission so we can discuss the appropriate next step.
Do I need to already have an EIN?
No. EIN registration is included in each package. If you already have an EIN for your nonprofit, please provide that information when completing your order requirements.
What if I already have bylaws?
That's okay. If you already have bylaws, I will review them rather than create a new set. If you do not have bylaws, I will create customized bylaws for your organization.
How does the guided filing process work?
We will meet virtually to complete the appropriate filing steps together. I will prepare and guide you through every step in the process, while you review your information, authorize your application and make required government payments directly.
Does the delivery time include government approval?
No. The listed delivery time covers my preparation and service turnaround. State and IRS processing times are controlled by the applicable government agency and are not included in my delivery timeframe.
Can you guarantee my nonprofit will receive 501(c)(3) status?
No. Approval decisions are made by the IRS. My service includes application preparation and guided filing based on the information you provide, but approval cannot be guaranteed.
Can you help me if I've already started the nonprofit formation process?
Yes. If you've already completed certain steps, message me before ordering and let me know what has been completed. I can help determine which package best fits where you are in the process or create a custom order for services that may be unique to your nonprofit's development and needs.
