My graphic novel scriptwriting services help turn your story or idea into a professional script that is clean, organized, and ready to hand over to your team of artist(s). You will receive a formatted script that is organized by page, panels, and dialogue - this format allows you to easily pass to your production team and use as a guideline.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English, Creative Writing, and Media & Cultural Studies as well as a Masters in English and Writing Studies. My experience in graphic novels ranges from writing and consulting projects that lead to production of a series or single chapter releases. My background allows me to not only provide a formatted script, but help write content and fill in the blanks of your story ideas that may need some creative input and support!

What is the difference between a graphic novel and a comic book?
Graphic novels are essentially longer comic books. Comic book issues are typically 22 pages whereas graphic novels range from 100+ pages. Graphic novels are also usually printed on higher quality paper.
What if I'm not sure if I want a comic book or graphic novel?
Graphic novels, although usually different in production cost due to print and coloring, are essentially longer comic books. That means if you are hesitant, you can always begin as a comic book and later develop it into a volume or graphic novel.
What do I need to order a graphic novel script?
A summary or outline of your general idea is enough to get started with writing.
What makes a graphic novel script unique?
It is organized by page, panel, dialogue, and sfx in order to help keep the plot and art direction as manageable as possible. It will also allow your artist to follow an easy to read guideline when it is time for production of the story.
Can I order a longer graphic novel script?
Absolutely. My services start at the average industry standard page counts for comics but I offer custom order if you have a specific page count you would like to receive.
Can I request changes after a script is received?
Yes! Each order includes a free single basic edit, meaning you have the chance to review your delivered materials and request changes.
Do I own the story when it is delivered?
Yes, each new project series begins with a writer and client contract that details clients have full ownership of project materials and have the complete rights to it beyond this order.
Do I have to credit you as a writer?
Clients have full ownership of the project and I do request I be listed as a writer or scriptwriter depending on how much original material I am helping produce.
