I'm a book editor, indexer, formatter, and layout specialist. I work with authors who want a professional who can take ownership of the process and deliver a polished, ready-to-publish book. Do I need to message you before ordering?
Yes — I review every manuscript before accepting a project to confirm word count, editing level, timeline, and whether the project is a good fit.
What level of editing is included?
This gig includes proofreading/copyediting, depending on your manuscript's condition. Heavy developmental editing or major rewriting is not included.
Do you rewrite sentences or add new content?
I can rewrite a sentence to improve clarity, flow, and correctness, but I do not rewrite paragraphs/sections or add new ideas/sections.
Do you fact-check nonfiction books?
No — factual accuracy is the author’s responsibility. I will flag anything that appears unclear.
Can I send images, graphics, quotes, or special elements for my layout?
I can create a custom quote that takes into account these additional assets.
What if my book is longer or shorter than 50,000 words?
I can absolutely help — I’ll quote a custom price based on length and editing level.
Do you handle uploads to KDP or IngramSpark?
No — I prepare the final files you need, but you upload to the platforms.
Can you also create a hardcover version?
Yes — hardcover sizing is available as an add-on.
Can I send updated text after editing or formatting has already begun?
Major text changes after production starts are not included. A few small corrections are fine.
