Do you have a romance or erotica manuscript and want a set of fresh, careful eyes to catch any pesky errors that have slipped through before you hit 'publish'? I'd love to help!
I'm a romance-focused editor and avid reader, so I understand how important it is for your story to come through clearly. My goal is to help you bring the magic out in your manuscript and help it shine the way it should, all while preserving your voice and style of writing.
I will use either Microsoft Word (preferred) or Google Docs, depending on your preference, with tracked changes so you can easily see all of my edits and suggestions.
What I check:
- Spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Typos and missing or repeated words
- Consistency in capitalization and word choices
- Other surface-level errors that may distract readers
Please note:
Proofreading is intended for manuscripts that are nearing publication and that have already gone through other rounds of edits. It's focus is on surface-level errors that slipped through the cracks of those edits.

Can you provide a sample edit?
Absolutely! I'm happy to proofread a sample of up to 500 words. If your manuscript exceeds 85,000 words, a sample edit is required before I accept the order. Please message me to get started!
Will you personally proofread the manuscript?
Yes, I personally handle every manuscript, and your work will never be outsourced to another proofreader or editor.
Do you use AI/Grammarly to proofread?
No, I do not. I do 100% of the proofreading. I may run a final spell check at the end of my revisions to catch anything I may have missed, but I do not use generative AI or Grammarly to perform any step in proofreading or editing.
What if my story is under 10,000 words?
Message me! We'll work up a custom package just for you based on the word count, which will determine the price and delivery time.
What if my manuscript exceeds the package limit?
You can add increments of 1,000 words, but I'd love to discuss a custom offer! Please message me with your word count and desired deadline, and we can determine the appropriate price and delivery schedule. Manuscripts exceeding 100,000 words will require a custom offer.
Delivery times and additional words
Delivery times are based on the maximum word count included in each package. Manuscripts that exceed a package's word count may require additional delivery time. Please allow 1 additional day per 10,000 additional words (rounded up). I'll confirm the final delivery schedule with you.
What romance or erotica subgenres do you work with?
I welcome a range of subgenres, including paranormal romance, fantasy romance, dark romance, LGBTQIA+ romance, monster romance, and contemporary romance! Your story will be treated professionally and without judgment.
