I will develop a nodejs rest API or connect a documented API
About this gig
Need a Node.js backend or a connection to an existing service? I can build a focused TypeScript REST API with request validation, predictable JSON responses and setup documentation.
Packages cover the listed routes and entities in one service, using one PostgreSQL or MySQL database. Integration packages connect to one documented REST service within the stated endpoint limits.
My task-manager project uses Next.js, Prisma and PostgreSQL, with JWT authentication and CRUD workflows.
A route is one HTTP method and path. An entity is one record type with up to 12 scalar fields. Source code, API usage notes and environment configuration examples are included.
Please send the routes, data fields, business rules and API documentation before ordering so we can confirm access and scope.
Payments, OAuth flows, custom user/role systems, complex relational workflows, live-schema changes, migrations, scraping, queues, webhooks and undocumented APIs are excluded. Frontend screens and production deployment need separate scope. You supply hosting, service fees and authorized access. Revisions cover the agreed scope.

FAQ
Can you integrate any service?
I can assess a documented REST API with suitable access. Each integration connects to one service within the package endpoint limit. Undocumented services, OAuth, payments, webhooks and bidirectional synchronization need separate scope.
What code, access control and deployment are included?
You receive backend source code, API usage notes and setup instructions. A simple server-to-server API-key gate is included if needed, or an existing supported authentication layer after review. End-user login, roles, frontend screens and production deployment are separate scope.
Can you extend an existing API, and what counts as a revision?
Yes, after reviewing its architecture and dependencies. Each package covers the agreed route and entity limits. A revision is one consolidated round of adjustments within that scope; new routes, features, integrations, migrations or major upgrades are separate work.
