Duplicate rows, dates in four formats, names that do not match, columns that drifted apart, junk from a bad export. I fix all of it and hand back one file you can use immediately.

- The cleaned file in your format of choice

- A change log: what was merged, removed or reformatted, and how many rows each change affected

- The row count before and after

The change log is the part that matters. Months from now you should be able to explain to your accountant, your client or yourself exactly what happened to your data, and why the totals moved.

Works with Excel, CSV, Google Sheets, JSON and plain text exports.

What I need from you:

- The file, or a sample of it if it is sensitive

- What the data is used for, so I clean toward that and not against it

- Any rule I should not break, for example never merge two customers automatically
