What do you need from me to get started?
Just your business details: what you do, who your customers are, and any logo, photos or text you have. No content yet? No problem. I can write the copy (see my extras) and advise on images. You answer a few questions, I handle the rest.
How does the process work?
Three clear steps: I design a concept for your approval, then build the full site, then refine and deliver. You can order with milestone payments, so you only pay for each step once it is completed. You always know where your project stands.
What if I do not like the first design?
That is exactly what the concept phase is for. You see the design direction before a single line of code is written, and revisions are included in every package. We keep refining until it fits your brand and you feel confident moving forward.
Who owns the website?
You do, 100 percent. After delivery you receive the complete source code. No lock-in and no subscription needed to keep your site alive. You can host it anywhere, though I am happy to set up fast, reliable hosting for you.
Can I update the website myself?
The site is delivered as clean code without a CMS, which keeps it fast and secure. Most owners prefer to send me changes instead of wrestling with an editor. Small updates are quick, and with hosting set up I can keep everything current for you.
Will my website work on phones?
Yes, every site is built mobile first and tested on all screen sizes. Most local customers search on their phone, so that is where your site has to win. Fast loading and clean layouts on mobile are standard in every package.
Is SEO included?
Every site ships with an SEO ready foundation: semantic code, fast load times, proper headings and meta tags, so Google can read and rank it. Ongoing SEO campaigns are a separate service, but the technical groundwork is built in.
Do you build online shops?
This gig covers business websites: services, booking, contact, galleries. Full e-commerce is a bigger project with its own scope. If you need a shop, message me first and I will put together a custom offer that fits your catalog and budget.
