What information do you need to start working on my book cover?
- Your book's title - Your book's subtitle (if it has one) - The author's name - Book cover dimensions (6x9in, 5x8in, etc.) - The exact number of pages - Back cover text - A short description of the story or the contents of your book - 2-3 examples of the covers that you like in terms of style
I haven't finished formatting my book, so I don't know the exact page count. Can I still place an order?
Yes, of course. Page count is important since it determines the size of the spine. However, it is okay if you still don't know how many pages your book will have in the end. We can start working on the design and resize the book cover later.
What if I am still in the writing process? Can I order if my book is not complete yet?
Of course. If you want to have your cover ready by the time you have finished writing, we can do so as long as we form a great idea of how should the concept carry your message.
What is the expected turnaround time?
I understand the value of your time and the importance of deadlines. You will receive your design within 3 days for the first two packages and up to 6 days for the ultimate package.
Can you redesign my old cover?
Yes. Depending on the nature of the project, I may be able to improve your current cover or design a new one from scratch. Just make sure to reach out before placing the order so that I know if that is a project I can work on successfully.
Do you use AI to generate art for your covers?
I do not solely rely on it for my covers. However, it is a valuable tool for complex illustrative tasks and some elements may not be achievable without it. If you have preferences regarding AI use, please reach out to me before placing the order. Otherwise, it may be used in your cover design.
