Are a vocoder and a talkbox the same thing?
Nope! They are basically opposite processes (with talkbox, the synth creates your "voice," which you record with a mic. With vocoder, you record your voice, and run it through a synth) but have similar sounds. Either sound you are looking for I can produce for you!
