Data Cleaning, ETL and Product Data
About this Gig
Your supplier catalog has the products. I prepare the file for your Shopify import.
Nuvaryn turns one Excel, CSV or Google Sheets export into a Shopify product CSV for NEW products.
Included:
- Map supplied titles, descriptions, SKUs, prices, vendor, types and tags
- Structure size and color variants in Standard and Premium
- Add up to 3 supplied public image URLs per product
- Check handles, duplicate SKUs, required fields and variant grouping
- Deliver the CSV, an Excel review workbook, an issue log, a small test CSV and import notes
Basic: 25 simple products.
Standard: 50 products, up to 100 SKU rows.
Premium: 100 products, up to 250 SKU rows.
Each size/color combination counts as a SKU row.
Products are set to draft. I manually review the output and flag missing facts rather than invent them.
File preparation only: no store access, upload, existing-product updates, research, new descriptions, metafields or inventory quantities.
Send one structured source sheet with your final prices and product details. If your catalog needs reconstruction or exceeds these limits, message me with a sample before ordering.

FAQ
What exactly will I receive?
A Shopify product CSV, a small test CSV, an Excel review workbook, a separate issue log and import notes. New products are set to draft. You import the files yourself using Shopify's standard product importer; store access and live import testing are not included.
How do you count products and variants?
One product is one parent listing. A T-shirt in 2 colors and 3 sizes is 1 product and 6 SKU rows. Basic: 25 simple products/25 rows. Standard: 50 products/100 rows. Premium: 100 products/250 rows. Both limits apply. Image-only output rows do not count.
What source files and fields are included?
One CSV, XLS or XLSX file, one worksheet, up to 20 source columns. Export Google Sheets as XLSX. Supply English content, final prices and SKUs, with one row per product or variant. Up to 3 public image URLs per parent product; no image sourcing, editing or hosting.
Can you prepare size and color variants?
Yes, in Standard and Premium: up to 3 option names per product, using combinations already identified in your source. Provide a parent/group identifier, option values, SKU and price for each variant. I do not invent combinations or reconstruct variants from photos, PDFs or unstructured notes.
Will you write descriptions or find missing product details?
Packages use your supplied facts and content. Field mapping and consistent formatting are included; new descriptions, keyword research, translation and web research are not. Missing facts are flagged. Send a sample before ordering if your catalog needs reconstruction.
Do you upload products or update my existing Shopify catalog?
No. I prepare files for NEW products; no password is needed. Updates, migrations, Matrixify, metafields, inventory quantities and international pricing are excluded. You test a small batch first, keep overwrite disabled and check the import preview. Live import testing is not included.
What happens to missing or conflicting data?
Products with blocking issues, such as missing prices or unclear variant grouping, are held out of the import CSV and listed in the issue log. Their data remains in the review workbook. Optional blanks are documented. Nothing is silently dropped and no product facts are guessed.
What does one revision include?
One consolidated round within the original file, mapping and package limits, including your answers to flagged questions. New catalogs, added products or another target format need a separate quote. My mapping or formatting mistakes are corrected without extra charge.
