I will audit and fix your firebase firestore security rules

Your Firestore rules are the only thing between your database and the internet. Plenty of live apps ship with rules that are quietly wide open - any signed-in user can read every other user's name, email and phone.

The second problem is worse. When you tighten them, they can break silently. No error, no crash. Users just stop being able to save things, and you find out days later.

I have had both happen on a live app. The fix that holds is tests: assertions run against the Firebase emulator, wired so a bad rules change FAILS THE DEPLOY instead of reaching your users.

One check most audits miss: I validate rules against your REAL document shape, not the shape they assume. A rule keyed on document ID, when your data keys the user in a field instead, denies every write - silently.
