I will beta read your fantasy, romance, or romantasy novel
Beta reader and editor for fantasy, romance and historical fiction
About this Gig
Your story deserves a reader who gets the genre.
I'm a devoted reader and writer of fantasy, romance, romantasy, and historical fiction. I know how these stories work, what readers come to them for, and what makes an ending truly land. I'll read your manuscript the way your future readers will, then tell you honestly what's working and what isn't.
What you'll get:
A detailed reader report covering:
- Overall impressions and emotional reactions
- Pacing where I was hooked, where I skimmed
- Character arcs and relationship development (chemistry and tension included!)
- Plot logic and worldbuilding clarity
- Whether your ending delivers the payoff readers expect
Plus inline comments where applicable real-time reactions right in your manuscript. These are gold for seeing exactly how a reader experiences your story. (Tier dependent.)
What this is: Honest, constructive reader feedback from someone who reads and writes in these genres.
What this isn't: Line editing or proofreading. I focus on story, not grammar.

FAQ
My book is over 100k words. Can you still read it?
Absolutely! Message me before ordering and I'll set up a custom offer based on your word count.
What format should I send my manuscript in?
A Word doc or Google Doc with editing/commenting enabled works best so I can leave inline comments. PDF is fine for the Basic package.
Will you share or steal my ideas?
Never. Your manuscript stays completely confidential, and I'm happy to sign an NDA. Your work never runs through any AI software. As a writer myself, I treat your work the way I'd want mine treated.
