About this gig
Hey, my name is Ollie Wade and I'm a music artist and songwriter, based in Surrey with multiple releases and songs under my belt, accumulating over 7 Million Streams across streaming platforms.
I am a full-time musician working as a Songwriter, Artist, Vocalist and Performer. I have written and sung on hundreds of tracks in a variety of genres and gigged throughout Europe. I have a higher diploma in vocal performance and a degree in Songwriting and Music Performance, so I am a well-trained and qualified vocalist.
Examples of genres I have worked on include:
- Pop / EDM / Ballad
- Rock/Indie music with added grit
- Acoustic/Folk music with a softer more emotive tone

I have a vast male range, strong falsetto, controlled vibrato and I can do complex vocal runs.

As a full-time songwriter, vocalist, and live performer, I have released multiple projects that have garnered significant success. My discography includes over 7 million Spotify streams as an artist and even more as a songwriter, as well as a Top 10 iTunes EP, a Billboard feature, and a UK Top 40 single.

What equipment do you use?
- Shure SM7B microphone with a Pop Shield and Vocal Booth - Apollo Solo Interface with Logic Pro X on my Macbook Pro. - The plugins I use are Melodyne Assistant, Waves Tune Real-Time, CLA Vocals, LA-2A Compressor, Pultec EQP-1A EQ, 1176AE Compressor, Valhalla Vintage Verb & H-Delay
Can I use your name in my release?
I am very selective with what I attach my name to as it has to match my own artist project. I don't tend to put my name to any song's I have not co/written but sometimes, If I write the melody and lyrics then it might be possible. You can still use and release the songs with my voice however! :)
Do you ask for any percentage/ cuts as the songwriter?
My gig is not a full buyout so I do still ask for my publishing percentage as the topliner (lyrics & vocal melody). Usually it is a 50/50 split with your percentage. I do not ask for a master royalty split (for income from streams and sales). Happy to discuss this with you in more detail beforehand.
Can you do different styles of music?
Yes! I've worked together with lots of musicians across a variety of genres from EDM dance tracks, to children's nursery rhymes and even Heavy Metal music. So I'd like to believe I'm a versatile songwriter. If you want, send me your song on chat before hand so we can talk about it there.
What classes as a revision?
A revision for me could include: - a different tone/ performance - Small lyric changes - inclusion of a certain harmony - improvement in diction or timing - pronunciation This sadly does not include redoing the song in another key, tempo or vast lyric changes
Can you create the music as well?
Yes, but for an additional fee. Currently, I can only commit to making acoustic piano and guitar-based compositions.
What do you need from me?
If singing your pre written song, I will need an instrumental version, a guide vocal with the melody (preferably isolated) and your lyrics. It also helps to know the key and BPM. If I'm writing the lyrics and melody, then I just need the track and any existing ideas :)
Can you do custom orders? E.g. Just lyrics.
Yes of course. If what you need doesn't fit into my gig categories then we can work out a custom order to fit your requirements.
