About this Gig
Does your BLDC motor controller overheat, reset or fail under load? Most failures come from the power stage layout, gate drive or current sensing not the motor.
I design 3 phase BLDC motor controller PCBs from specification to manufacturing files for robotics, pumps, fans, e mobility and industrial drives. Hall sensor, encoder and sensorless back EMF architectures are supported.
What you get:
- Hardware architecture and component selection (MOSFETs, gate driver, MCU, regulators)
- Schematic and PCB layout in KiCad or Altium
- Current sensing plus undervoltage, overcurrent and reverse polarity protection
- High current routing and thermal planning, DRC clean
- Gerber, drill, BOM, pick and place and PDF schematic
Platforms: STM32, ESP32, RP2040, nRF52. Interfaces: PWM, UART, CAN, SPI, I2C.
Motor control firmware is not included in standard packages. Firmware bringup is quoted separately.
Send your motor voltage, peak current and control method and I will confirm feasibility before you order.
FAQ
Which controllers and motors do you support?
Three-phase BLDC and PMSM motors with Hall, encoder or sensorless back-EMF feedback. Supported MCU platforms include STM32, ESP32, RP2040 and nRF52, depending on the control method.
Do you design the power stage, or only place a driver module?
Both. Basic uses an integrated driver IC. Standard and Premium include a custom MOSFET and gate-driver stage sized to your voltage and current.
Which software do you use, and can I get the source files?
KiCad and Altium Designer with EasyEDA on request. Source project files are delivered with the final package.
What manufacturing files do I receive?
Gerbers, drill files, BOM, pick-and-place file and a PDF schematic, formatted for common PCB fabricators.
Can you include firmware?
Firmware is not part of the standard packages. I can quote motor-control firmware bring-up separately once I know your motor and control method.
Can you modify or fix my existing BLDC board?
Yes. Send your schematic, layout and a description of the fault. I review it and send a custom offer, since scope depends on what I find.
What if my requirements exceed the package limits?
Message me before ordering. Higher voltage, higher current, or special requirements are handled with a custom offer after a feasibility check.
