I will build a custom web application with a real backend

About this gig
I build custom web applications: the kind with accounts, a database and an admin area behind them, not a brochure site with a form.
Typical projects: an internal tool that replaces a spreadsheet, a booking system, a customer portal, or the first working version of a SaaS product.
Recent work: a platform for a cleaning company covering everything from contract to paid invoice, with a back office, a customer portal and a mobile app for the crew. And a restaurant system of six connected apps on one real-time core.
I work in TypeScript with React and Nextjs, and in NET on the server over PostgreSQL. I deploy and run what I build, so you get something live, not a folder of code.
How it works:
1. Describe the problem, not the solution. I will tell you what is realistic in what budget.
2. We agree the scope in writing first.
3. You see working software early, not one reveal at the end.
More than five years as a professional developer, two of them on care software and currently on banking software. That shows in the parts you do not see: data that stays correct, and code that can still be changed next year.
Message me first. Custom software needs a conversation.

FAQ
What happens if the scope changes while we work?
We agree the scope in writing before anything starts. If something new comes up, I price it separately and you decide before I build it. Nothing gets added silently, and nothing gets dropped silently.
Do I own the code, and can another developer take it over?
Yes. You get the full source code and the accounts it runs on. I write it so someone else can pick it up: standard frameworks, no private tricks, and the important decisions written down.
What will it cost to run once it is live?
A small application usually costs a few euros a month for hosting and a database. I set it up on your own accounts and give you the numbers before we start, so there are no surprises later.
My budget is smaller than your packages. Can we still talk?
Message me. Often a smaller first version solves the real problem and the rest can follow later. And sometimes the honest answer is that the budget will not carry it, in which case I will say so.
Can you take over an app someone else started?
Often yes. Send me the repository or a description of what exists. I will look at it and tell you whether continuing or starting over is cheaper. That assessment costs you nothing.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes, and before you share anything sensitive rather than after. Send it over and I will sign it.
Do you build the mobile app as well?
I build mobile apps with React Native and have shipped them next to web apps. Tell me what you need and I will tell you whether one app or two is the better answer for it.
