Do I need to contact you before placing an order?
For small projects that clearly fit a package, you can order directly. Please message me first for large transaction volumes, historical cleanup, multiple accounts or entities, inventory, payroll, multiple currencies, or complex bookkeeping issues so I can confirm the scope.
What do you need to start my QuickBooks cleanup?
I will normally need access to your QuickBooks Online file, bank or credit card statements for the relevant period, and any supporting information required to understand unclear transactions or existing bookkeeping issues.
Can you clean up books that are several months or years behind?
Yes. I can handle catch-up and historical bookkeeping. The price and delivery time will depend on the number of months, accounts, transactions, and condition of the books. Please contact me before ordering a large historical cleanup.
What does a bank or credit card account mean in your packages?
Each separate bank account, credit card, payment account, or similar account requiring review and reconciliation counts as one account. If you have more accounts than your selected package includes, please contact me for a custom offer.
What if my transaction volume exceeds the package limit?
Please message me before ordering. I will review the approximate transaction volume and number of accounts and recommend the appropriate package or provide a custom offer for the additional work.
Will I receive financial statements after the cleanup?
Financial statement preparation is included in the Standard and Premium packages. Where applicable, I can provide a Profit & Loss statement and Balance Sheet after the agreed cleanup and reconciliation work is completed.
Will you automatically delete or change transactions during cleanup?
No. I review the accounting records carefully and avoid unnecessary changes. Significant discrepancies, unusual transactions, or matters requiring clarification will be investigated and discussed where appropriate before major corrections are made.
