Textbooks and workbooks are where generic formatters give up, and where I come in.
I design image-heavy book interiors in Adobe InDesign, built to order. No templates: a custom page system for your content, with every figure captioned and anchored where it belongs, tables that stay legible, and exercises, answer keys and glossaries structured properly.
How it works:
- We discuss trim size, fonts, colour and style
- You get a sample spread within 3 days we refine until the design is right
- I build master pages and consistent styles, then typeset the full book
- Full draft for your review, revisions, then final files
You receive: a print-ready PDF with correct bleed and trim 100% approved for KDP, IngramSpark and Lulu.
Supply your images in high resolution; basic prep (cropping, sizing, light correction) is included. Blurry charts, missing diagrams or custom illustrations? Available as add-ons see my gig extras.
Minor corrections after delivery are always free.
For image-heavy, diagram-heavy or highly technical books, please message me with your manuscript before ordering.

Working in Adobe InDesign, I've produced published titles across cookbooks, children's and teen non-fiction, novels and workbooks. So I know what a real interior needs: clean master pages, anchored images that stay where you put them, recipe grids that don't break across a spread, and files that pass KDP and IngramSpark validation the first time.
FAQ
Is this different from your standard book formatting service?
Yes. Textbooks and workbooks normally require more complex page structures, including exercises, callout boxes, tables, diagrams, learning sections and repeated educational components.
Can you create a consistent design system for the whole textbook?
Yes. I can develop master pages, typography, colour styles and reusable components so the entire publication feels consistent.
Can you format worksheets and student activities?
Yes. Activities, questions, writing spaces, worked examples and answer sections can all be incorporated into the design.
Do I supply the images?
Yes. Client-supplied diagrams and illustrations will be positioned and styled within the book. Creation or substantial redesign of graphics may incur an additional charge.
Do you provide the InDesign source file?
It can be included in selected packages or purchased as an additional extra.
Can I get an EPUB version?
Possibly. Many textbooks and workbooks are better suited to print or fixed-layout digital formats because reflowable EPUBs cannot preserve every page design. Send me the book first and I can advise on the most appropriate digital format.
Do you write the educational content?
No. This Gig is for layout and design of content you provide. Content creation can be quoted separately where appropriate.
