What satellite data do you use?
Sentinel-2 (10m resolution) – free, global coverage, updated every 5 days.
Does the 400 km² minimum have to be one single area?
YES. The 400 km² minimum applies to a single, contiguous polygon area. Multiple separate polygons cannot be combined into one order.
What if I have 5 separate polygons, each 100 km²?
Each polygon would require its own separate order with its own 400 km² minimum fee. For example, 5 polygons × 400 km² minimum = 5 separate orders.
Can you process multiple separate areas in one order?
No. Each separate polygon is treated as an independent order. This is because each polygon requires its own satellite data download, processing, and quality control.
Can you process areas inside China?
Unfortunately, I'm currently unable to accept projects located within mainland China due to data access constraints. All other regions worldwide are fully supported.
Can you process a specific year?
Yes. Just specify the year or date range. I will use the best cloud-free imagery available for that period.
I only have 200 km² – can you process it?
The minimum is 400 km² per contiguous area. If your area is smaller, the minimum fee ($160 or $240) still applies.
How do I know the accuracy is reliable?
I provide a sample preview before final delivery. Premium orders include a formal accuracy assessment report.
What file formats do you deliver?
GeoTIFF (raster), CSV (area statistics), QGIS style (.qml) – all compatible with ArcGIS, QGIS, and Python.
