FAQ
Can you restore my site data if it was damaged or deleted?
In many cases, yes. It's common for malware to corrupt files to harm SEO rankings, and my cleaning process can often repair this damage. However, if files have been completely deleted from your server, restoration is only possible if you have a backup.
What does your 15-day support & monitoring include?
For 15 days, I'll monitor your site's security. If the site gets reinfected due to my work, I will fix it for free. This guarantee becomes void if you install nulled (pirated) plugins or themes after my cleanup.
My site is very slow after being hacked. Will you fix it?
Hacked sites are often slow. My primary focus is cleanup and security. For a dedicated speed boost, I recommend adding my "Site Speed Up" gig extra, where I optimize your website for better performance.
Will you fix issues with my theme or other plugins?
I will clean any infections found within your themes and plugins. However, fixing pre-existing bugs, functionality errors, or design issues that are not related to the hack is not included in this service.
How can I prevent my website from being hacked in the future?
That's an excellent question! Long-term security relies on proactive maintenance. I highly recommend always keeping your WordPress, themes, and plugins updated. It is also crucial to only use software from official sources, as "nulled" or pirated themes are a common source of reinfection.
What if I'm using a nulled (pirated) theme or plugin?
Nulled software is a major security risk. If I find any, I will inform you and recommend its removal. My service is to clean your site, not to provide official licenses. If you choose to keep the nulled software, please understand my security guarantee will be void.
Do you provide ONGOING SECURITY MAINTENANCE?
Yes! This gig is a one-time emergency fix. For long-term peace of mind, I offer a separate monthly maintenance service (via subscription) that includes regular updates, security scans, and backups. Please message me for details.
What if the site gets reinfected from the hosting server?
In rare cases, a site can be reinfected from other hacked websites on the same shared hosting account (cross-contamination). While I will completely secure your website, I cannot control the security of your hosting environment.
Can this gig be used for more than one site?
Each gig purchase is for a complete cleanup of a single WordPress website. If you have multiple websites that need cleaning, please contact me directly. I'd be happy to provide you with a custom offer.
