What file format should I send my manuscript in?
A Word document (.docx) works best. Google Docs exported to .docx is fine too. Please have your manuscript fully edited and proofread before ordering — formatting is the final step before publishing.
What files will I recieve?
For ebook packages, you'll receive an EPUB file compatible with Amazon KDP, Apple Books, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, and more. Print packages also include a print-ready PDF sized to your chosen trim size. All files pass KDP and IngramSpark validation.
Do you design book covers?
No, this gig covers interior formatting only. You'll need your cover designed separately. For print books, I can let you know your final page count so your cover designer can create the correct spine width.
Do you offer revisions?
Yes! Each package includes a revision for formatting issues or small text corrections. Major manuscript changes (rewritten chapters, added content) after delivery may require an additional fee, so please send your final version
Can you format my book if it has images, tables, or footnotes?
Yes, in most cases. Please message me before ordering so I can review your manuscript and confirm — heavily illustrated books or complex layouts may need a custom offer.
What genres do you format?
Fiction and most non-fiction (memoirs, self-help, business, etc.). Workbooks, textbooks, cookbooks, and children's picture books need special layouts that I am ill equip to provide.
For the Premium package, do I need to provide the chapter art?
You can provide your own images, or I can use professional decorative elements that match your book's tone. I will not purchase additional stock images. Either way, we'll make sure the style fits your genre.
Will my book work on Kindle?
Yes. The EPUB file I deliver uploads directly to Amazon KDP — no conversion needed. Amazon retired the old MOBI format, so EPUB is the current standard.
What do you need from me to get started?
Your final manuscript (.docx), your front/back matter text (dedication, author's note, "Also By" list, author bio for Premium), your author photo if applicable, and your preferred trim size for print packages.
How do "Also By" links work in the ebook?
I can include clickable links to your other books' store pages. Just send me the URLs, or I can list titles without links if you prefer (useful if you publish wide across multiple stores).
