About this Gig
in this gig I will move WordPress from a shared host to a VPS with HestiaCP or Cyberpanel or any other control panel such as cPanel, Directadmin, etc
HestiaCP is a lightweight and free control panel for hosting PHP,html,css,js based websites. It comes with every tool you need to run your WordPress website. Hestia Control panel uses Apache and/or Nginx to host websites. You could go with LAMP stack or LEMP stack.
Cyberpanel is also a free control panel. Cyberpanel uses Openlitespeed and Litespeed enterprise servers to host websites.
Depending on the package you choose, I will:
- only migrate WordPress from shared host to VPS.
- set up the VPS server
- Install HestiaCP or Cyberpanel
- Migrate WordPress
Take note :
For HestiaCP ensure, your server is running a supported operating system (amd64 or arm64):
- Debian 9
- Debian 10
- Debian 11
- Ubuntu 20.04 LTS / 22.04 LTS
For Cyberpanel, stick with a fresh install of Ubuntu 20.04.

FAQ
Do you also work with other Control Panels?
Yes. In this gig I mentioned HestiaCP and Cyberpanel, but I can also install and set up Directadmin, Webuzo , Cpanel, Plesk, Virtualmin etc.
Other than WordPress? Drupal?
Yes. I can migrate, WordPress, Drupal and other CMS platforms, including Laravel.
How many Wordpress sites migrated?
In the basic plan, I can install a panel and migrate only 1 website. With the standard plan, I will harden (secure) Linux server, install panel and migrate 1 website. Finally, with the premium plan i'll do everything in the standard plan and migrate up to 4 websites.
Aditional website?
If you need to migrate additional websites, check the gig extras. You can order for an extra website.
Timeline?
Give me all the credentials I need and you website will be migrated within hours. if you have any complexities like a massive database or massive file size, it might take a bit longer.
Are you a quitter
No matter how challenging it may have been to accomplish the migration before you decided to hire me, I will get it done.
Any Cloud provider ?
As long as you have SSH access to your server, I can migrate you to any cloud provider. Feel free to contact me if you have any concerns and questions.
