I will develop a complete custom 2d game in godot

About this gig
Have a small game idea you'd love to see finished?
I develop complete 2D games using Godot and GDScript, from the first mechanic to a playable build with menus, gameplay, and win/lose conditions.
I've independently designed and released games including ThawStroke (top 8% in its game jam) and Save The Planet, both created under tight deadlines. I'm also developing my own larger indie game, Thalia's Flower Shop.
Depending on your package, your game can include:
- Custom gameplay mechanics and player controls
- Small playable levels and scene transitions
- Menus, UI, scoring, and win/lose screens
- Basic saving or progression, where agreed
- Debugging, testing, and a playable build
Every order includes the editable Godot project and source code. I use your assets or suitable licensed/placeholder assets; original artwork and animations are not included by default.
These packages are for small, clearly scoped 2D games, not large RPGs, multiplayer games, or commercial-scale releases. Please message me before ordering so we can agree on the features, platform, and scope.

FAQ
What kind of games can you create?
I specialize in 2D games developed with Godot and GDScript, including platformers, puzzle games, arcade games, and other small indie projects. If you have a different idea in mind, feel free to message me! I'm always interested in exploring new concepts.
What does the Custom Game Art extra include?
For $35, I'll create up to 3 simple, original 2D game assets, such as sprites, items, props, or UI icons. This includes static artwork, not animations, complex character designs, or detailed backgrounds. If you need more artwork, we can discuss a custom offer!
Do I need to provide my own artwork and sounds?
Not necessarily! I can use placeholder or appropriately licensed assets to develop your game. If you already have sprites, sounds, music, or other assets, you're welcome to provide them. Custom artwork is available as a paid extra.
What exactly is included in a complete game?
Every package includes a playable game with a functional gameplay loop, basic menus, player controls, win/lose conditions, and the Godot source files. The number of levels, mechanics, and additional features depends on your selected package.
What counts as a level?
A level is a small, playable game environment with its own layout or challenge. Levels may reuse mechanics, artwork, and other assets. The packages are designed for compact 2D games rather than large, detailed game worlds.
Will I own the game and receive its source code?
Yes! Every package includes the complete Godot project and source code, so you can open, modify, and continue developing your game. Commercial use is permitted under Fiverr's applicable terms, subject to any third-party asset licenses.
What do revisions include?
Revisions cover reasonable adjustments to the agreed features, such as balancing gameplay, refining controls, or fixing issues. They don't include completely new mechanics, additional levels, or major changes to the original concept. Those can be discussed separately.
Can you make a larger or more complex game?
Absolutely! My listed packages focus on smaller games with clearly defined features, but I'm happy to discuss larger projects. Send me your idea, desired mechanics, and any references, and we can work out a realistic scope, budget, and timeline together.
Should I contact you before placing an order?
Yes, please! Every game is different, and even simple ideas can vary a lot in complexity. I'd love to hear about your project before you order so we can agree on the features, delivery time, and budget. This helps make sure you get exactly what you're looking for!
