FAQ
Can you convert any website or PWA into an iOS app?
Yes. If your project runs in a browser — whether it is a PWA, a Lovable build, a Replit project, or a standard website — I can convert it into a native-feeling iOS and Android app using Capacitor. No full rebuild is required.
What is Capacitor and why is it used for this?
Capacitor is a cross-platform runtime developed by the Ionic team. It wraps your existing web app into a native iOS or Android shell, giving it access to device features such as the camera, GPS, and push notifications — all without rewriting your codebase from scratch.
Will my converted app pass Apple's App Store review?
In the vast majority of cases, yes. I configure all required elements including app metadata, icons, splash screens, privacy policies, and code-signing certificates to meet Apple's current guidelines. If a rejection occurs within the support window, I revise and resubmit at no additional charge.
Do I need an Apple Developer account?
Yes. Apple requires an active developer account ($99/year) to submit any app to the App Store. If you do not have one, I will guide you through the registration process step by step. If you already have an account, I will work directly inside it so you retain full ownership of the app.
Can you convert my Lovable or Replit project without me rebuilding it?
Absolutely — that is precisely what this service is designed for. I take your existing Lovable or Replit project output and package it into a production-ready iOS and Android app using Capacitor. You do not need to change, rewrite, or migrate your project.
Will the app look and behave like a native iOS app?
It will look, feel, and perform like a native app — with smooth navigation, proper icons, native splash screens, and full-screen display. For additional native functionality such as camera access, GPS, or push notifications.
Do you also build and submit to Google Play for Android?
Yes. The Standard and Premium packages include both iOS and Android builds. I generate a signed APK or AAB file for Google Play and a signed IPA for the App Store, so your app launches on both platforms simultaneously.
How long does the entire process take from start to finish?
The build and delivery phase takes 3 to 7 days depending on the package selected. Apple's App Store review typically adds 1 to 3 additional business days after submission, which is outside my control. Your signed build file will always be delivered within the agreed package timeframe.
What do you need from me to get started?
To begin I will need access to your web app via a live URL or source code repository, your Apple Developer account credentials or confirmation that you are setting one up, your preferred app name and description, and any branding assets such as your logo and color scheme.
What happens if my app gets rejected by Apple after submission?
Apple rejections are uncommon when the build is properly configured, but they do occasionally occur. If your app is rejected for any reason related to my work within the post-delivery support window, I will review Apple feedback, make the required changes, and resubmit the app at no additional cost.
