What is the difference between a beta reader and an editor?
A beta reader will provide feedback on your story from a reader's point of view, but they do not proofread or edit your story. Typically, author's go through developmental editing first (the big changes), then beta reading (sometimes from multiple beta readers), then copy editing and proofreading.
