About this gig
One of our highly skilled official record label reps will register your song, Ep, or Album with BMI. Early registration of your songs is EXTREMELY essential — if you don’t get your songs registered you won’t get paid when they’re played.
DONT FORGET:
1.Be sure to list any and all performers of the song.
2. Be sure to list any and all writers and/or publishers with their correct shares.
3. Be sure to list any alternate titles.
4. Be sure your writer/publisher account has current contact information.
5. Make sure samples are licensed/cleared properly.
6. Avoid naming your songs anything that's hard to remember and not clear. E.g. Up 2 No Good Luv should be Up to No Good Love.
FYI: If you perform your songs live, report these using the various programs from ASCAP, BMI and SESAC.

Do i need to be signed up with BMI already or Can you sign me up?
For this service, You MUST ALREADY BE an Affiliate With BMI As A Songwriter & Or Music Publisher. However, we can register you with BMI as well just add our gig extra
Is registering my music with BMI an alternative to copyright registration?
Not necessarily, Registering a song with BMI will only allow you to receive performance royalties if that song gets performed; it does not give you protection under copyright law.
Does you need a copy of my song to register it to BMI?
No. BMI relies on the information you provide when we register your work and does not need an actual copy of your song. BMI does not accept uploads of audio files (.MP3 etc) as part of song registrations.
Will joining BMI get me a record deal?
No. BMI only represents its members in their role as songwriters, composers, and publishers of songs and scores. Getting a record deal is not within the scope of what their business offers.
Can BMI get my songs on the radio?
BMI cannot get your songs placed on the radio. Publishers, labels, managers, and other outside executives may help you find new outlets for your work, but as a performing right organization, BMI’s focus is fair payment and copyright protection for our songwriters, composers, and music publishers.
