Do you check the product design for manufacturing issues before designing the mold?
Yes. I always perform a basic DFM (Design for Manufacturing) check. If I find any problems like improper wall thickness or missing draft angles that could cause molding defects, I will let you know and can help modify the 3D part before splitting the mold.
What software do you use, and what file formats will I receive?
I use Siemens NX (UG) for all 3D mold designs. I will provide the native .prt source files, along with universal 3D formats like .stp or .igs. For 2D layouts, you will receive .dwg and .pdf formats ready for your tooling workshop.
Can you design molds according to specific global components standards?
Yes. I can design using global standard components such as LKM, HASCO, or DME, depending on your local manufacturing requirements. Please specify your preference before we start.
