I will separate and prepare your 2d character layers for spine or live2d animation

About this gig
Need to animate your 2D game characters but only have a flat, single-layer image? Let me prepare your art for flawless rigging!
As a professional 2D game artist, I will separate your character into clean, neatly organized, and correctly labeled layers, fully ready for Spine 2D, Live2D, Unity, or sprite sheets.
I dont just blindly cut the image. I perform manual overpainting (inpainting) to reconstruct "blind zones" (hidden areas behind arms, long hair, or weapons). Your character will look solid and perfect mid-motion without any visual glitches!
️ What this Gig offers:
- Clean Layer Separation: Properly named & grouped layers in PSD format.
- Smart Inpainting: Redrawing hidden body parts and clothing pieces.
- Rigging-Ready Setup: Precise alignment of joints, eyes, mouth components, and hair strands.
- Skin/Upgrade Optimization: Perfect alignment for multiple outfits or gear variations so they seamlessly share one animation skeleton.
Perfect for:
- Isometric & 2D RPG characters
- Casual mobile games & character progression skins
- Visual Novels & Live2D models (AI-art cleanup included!)

FAQ
1. What file format will I receive?
You will receive a perfectly organized, high-resolution PSD (Photoshop) file with all layers correctly separated, named, and grouped. Upon request, I can also export individual layers as transparent PNGs.
2. What is "inpainting/overpainting" and why is it included?
When a character moves (e.g., raises an arm), the area behind the arm becomes visible. If that area isn't manually drawn, your animation will have empty holes. I artistically redraw these hidden areas (torso, hair, clothes) so the asset remains solid during any movement.
3. Can you cut characters that have multiple skins or gear upgrades?
Yes! That is the specialty of the Premium Package. If you have an evolution line of a character (adding armor, changing clothes, or switching weapons), I will cut all the variations so they perfectly overlay the base skeleton structure, saving your animator hours of work.
4. Do you accept AI-generated artwork?
Yes, I do! AI images are always delivered as a single flat layer and often have messy details. I will clean up the edges, fix minor errors, separate the layers properly, and overpaint the hidden pieces to make the AI art production-ready.
5. Do you do the actual animation or rigging?
No, I specialize exclusively in the art preparation and layer cutting stage. You will need to hand the final PSD file over to a 2D animator or rigger (working in Spine, Live2D, or Unity).
