FAQ
Will I lose any data or history during the migration?
No. I migrate full history — projects, spaces, repositories, pull requests, comments, users, groups, and permissions — and run a data-integrity check afterward so counts match the source before we call it done.
Can you migrate from Server or Data Center? My version is quite old.
Yes. Both Server and Data Center are supported. If your instance is too old to migrate directly, I first upgrade it to a migration-ready version, then move it to Cloud. Just tell me your current version.
Do you migrate Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket, or just one?
Any combination. I use the official Atlassian Cloud Migration Assistants (JCMA, CCMA, BCMA). Pick the package that matches — one product or the full stack.
What about apps/add-ons and integrations?
I assess your add-ons before we start and flag anything that doesn't have a Cloud equivalent (some Server apps don't migrate). I also re-establish integrations like Jira↔Confluence links and Jira↔Bitbucket/GitHub with smart commits after cutover.
Will there be downtime?
Migrations run against a snapshot, so your team keeps working during most of it. We schedule the short cutover window together — usually outside business hours — to minimize disruption.

Is my data secure, and can you keep it in a specific region?
Yes. I only work through official Atlassian tooling, and Cloud supports data residency — I can pin your Jira/Confluence data to a specific region (e.g., EU) where your plan allows.
