About this Gig
Welcome to the world of contracting and sub contracting! It’s a great way for small business to save and individual contractor to make money or grow their contracting business. But whichever side you are on there is a catch especially in the US, without a proper contractor agreement you are opening yourself to lawsuits and potential compensation and benefits may be due similar to employees if there is no subcontracting Agreement in place. That’s why it is imperative to have an independent contracting agreement with your contractor if they are providing any sort of services to you. I will draft an independent subcontracting agreement that will cover all aspects of contracting: nature of services, relationships, compensations, company property, exceptions, confidentiality, prior inventions and innovations, copy rights, disclosure, power of attorney, representations and warranties, additional provisions such as severability, binding effect, remedy, injunctions relief, amendments, waivers etc...
In addition I will include all necessary exhibits needed such as description of services, payment contract, confidentiality agreement if you select the premium package.
