About this Gig
Do you need clear, effective horn charts for your band? Maybe you're adding a horn section to your band for the first time? Whether for studio or live, your horns will sound a lot better, a lot quicker, if they're all on the same page with the arrangement.
Send me any track with horns on it, and I'll create clear sheet music for that song, customised for you. Your arrangement/key/instrumentation: or exactly as the record, delivered as PDF files*.
Let me know your requirements & I'll create a chart (what we horn players call 'sheet music') that is customised for you, & gets the most out of your section.
Solos: yes, I can transcribe improvised solos too, but these are an extra: get in touch for a quote.
Jazz/Big Band Charts: these can be significantly more complicated to transcribe accurately, especially when reducing big band arrangements, so these are priced to order. Where possible, please provide chord charts.
When ordering:
Audio length refers to the full length of the recording. But if there are large portions without horns, I am flexible!

FAQ
How will I receive my horn parts?
As standard, I'll send a separate PDF file (A4 size, suitable for print or tablet) for each player, but I can also send combined PDFs. I can also provide scores, MusicXML, or even a midi or audio demo of the whole track, or isolated parts - please select these options when ordering.
What if my band plays the song in a different key?
No worries! This is available as an add-on - just let me know when you send the audio.
What if my band plays a different version of the tune, structurally?
That's no problem - you can either send a reference version (it doesn't matter if there's no horns on this version) with the right structure, or a clearly written out structure.
What if my horn section is flexible in size?
I can create a flexible arrangement for 3+ horns, that will still work as a smaller, with the lowest instrument(s) (often the trombone) being optional. Just let me know at the time of ordering.
Can you transcribe solos?
Yes - no problem, though for long/complex solos this is charged as an extra.

I'm new to Fiverr, so don't have experience with this, but Tom did a great job, quickly, doing exactly what he promised (transcribing a trumpet part and including a lead sheet) in a high quality manner. It would have taken me many, many hours to do these tasks myself, and I doubt my own efforts would have resulted in as professional of a result. Thanks Tom!!
