I will build a custom mcp server for claude or cursor

About this gig
I build custom MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers so Claude Desktop, Cursor and other MCP-compatible clients can call your API, database or internal tools.
I am a senior .NET engineer who also builds AI pipelines with the Claude API, FastAPI and LangGraph. I write the server in Python or C#, whichever fits your stack.
What you get:
- MCP server exposing the tools you choose, with clear names, descriptions and input schemas
- Connection to your REST API, database or files
- Authentication (API key, or OAuth on higher packages), error handling and logging
- Tests, a README and setup steps for Claude Desktop or Cursor
- Full source code
How it works:
- You send the API docs or schema and the actions you want the AI to perform.
- We agree the tool list before I build.
- I build, test with an MCP client and deliver with setup notes.
Not included: building your underlying API, hosting costs, or changes to third-party client apps.

FAQ
What is an MCP server?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI clients like Claude Desktop or Cursor call external tools and data. My server exposes your API or data as tools the AI can use.
Which AI clients will it work with?
Any MCP-compatible client. I test with an MCP client such as Claude Desktop and give you setup steps. Client support for MCP features varies, so I confirm what your target client supports before building.
Do you need my API keys or database access?
Only what the tools need to call. Please use a test or read-only credential where possible and revoke it after delivery. Keys are kept in environment variables, never hard-coded in the source.
What is not included?
Building or changing your underlying API, hosting costs and ongoing maintenance. The Premium package includes remote hosting setup; any cloud charges stay with you.
